Responsibilities

Cameron Homes are looking for a Business Administration apprentice to play an essential role of supporting their operational teams across the company and be responsible for:

  • Daily office tasks including management of incoming post, franking, printing, scanning and filing
  • Supporting the teams in using various communication methods
  • Handling incoming telephone calls, being the main point of contact for general enquiries, transferring to the relevant team and taking messages in a timely manner
  • Answering enquiries though email and social media channels
  • Creating blog posts to communicate with their employees internally
  • Assisting with creating and uploading content to their social media channels
  • Supporting teams with diary management and organising meetings arrangements both internally and externally
  • Organising and ordering catering from local suppliers for meetings throughout the week
  • Setting up meeting rooms, ensuring the correct technology is ready and beverages are provided
  • Data entry and document management
  • Collating any information from the relevant teams to produce reports
  • Any ad-hoc administration tasks on behalf of the senior management team
  • Attending meetings and taking notes and minutes
  • Monitoring, organising and ordering office supplies including stationery, HSE equipment and beverages
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy office

Person Specification

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at A*-C (9-4) including English and Maths
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Display a can do attitude with an appetite to learn
  • Wants to develop and drives own personal development
  • Professional and works hard to get the job done, always prepared to go the extra mile

Business Administrator Training 

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering topics such as project management, systems & processes, business structures and so much more.

You will undertake the ground-breaking Professional Apprenticeships Business Administration Level 3 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships are an Ofsted Outstanding rated training provider and hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021.

The programme is designed to mould you into a high-level, all-rounded business professional. You will learn in detail about business communication, organisation, managing change, problem-solving & much more.

These modules are designed to jump-start your career and make you stand out in an increasingly competitive field, boosting your future earning potential.
