Job Description

This exciting opportunity will see you learn all about how to use your creativity to market a brand from a friendly and fun team. Burry Sealants are a family run business, specialising in construction sealants. As they have grown, they have maintained the relaxed, family feel and are looking for their newest apprentice to support the marketing team with content creation and learning all about digital marketing. This incredible opportunity will see you really make the role your own and see the impact of your work having a direct impact on the business. 

Responsibilities 

Under the support of someone who has previously completed a Digital Marketing apprenticeship, you’ll be able to use your creativity to create content, write compelling copy and immerse yourself into the world of marketing.  

You will learn:  

  • Day-to-day running of a variety of social media platforms 
  • Helping to create social media plans and 90 day plans 
  • Providing social media content, posting and interaction through a range of platforms 
  • Supporting creating, editing and adding video, audio and pictorial content across a range of platforms 
  • Adding, creating and nurturing marketing/sales funnels. 
  • Editing and updating of company website along with assisting the maintenance of the ecommerce website – Burry Construction Supplies.  
  • Managing marketing lists within their software systems. 
  • Monitoring of online customer service tasks 
  • Day-to-day general office admin duties 

Personal Qualities 

  • Creative, with a good eye for detail 
  • Excellent written skills 
  • Photography and video would be an advantage but not essential 
  • Driven to learn 
  • Confident 
  • Enjoys working with people 
  • Great IT skills 
  • Strong work ethic with a desire to succeed 

Multi Channel Marketer Training 

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering topics such as: 

  • Brand management 
  • Content creation, SEO and utilising AI 
  • Online and offline marketing, including Google Ads certification 

You will undertake the ground-breaking Professional Apprenticeships Multi Channel Marketer Level 3 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships are an Ofsted Outstanding rated provider, and also hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021. 

The training is delivered using a hybrid model and can be delivered fully remotely if needed. You will have monthly 1-2-1s with your assigned tutor, along with monthly group sessions, where one topic will be covered in detail, and you will have the opportunity to meet and work with all the other apprentices on the course. 

The programme is designed to mould you into a high-level, all-rounded digital marketer. You will learn in detail about: 

  • Principles of Marketing 
  • Social media  
  • Brand management 
  • Creating content 
  • Evaluating and reviewing campaigns 
  • Paid media (PPC) and much more 

These modules are designed to jump-start your career and make you stand out in an increasingly competitive field, boosting your future earning potential. 

Progression 

Burry Sealants are growing and are looking for the team to grow with them. Previous apprentices have progressed within the company (including their marketing manager!) and there are some extremely exciting opportunities to develop beyond the apprenticeship for the right candidate.
