Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a luxury artistic kitchen and homeware brand in Bath, supporting the marketing of their beautiful handmade products and really making the role your own. Avenida Home work with artists who create colourful, eclectic ceramics, placemats and fine linens and are looking for an apprentice to help support their marketing. You will play a pivotal part in pushing the brand forward through creating eye-catching and engaging content and learning all about how to market a leading brand in luxury homeware. 

Responsibilities 

As part of the growth of Avenida Home, you will support the Managing Director who is the creative Director with Avenida Home brand online presence, their own platforms and those of the trade shows they participate in, Ensuring that the brand representation, content, marketing materials and photography are up to date and filed as appropriate. 

You will be exposed to a variety of tasks, utilising your creativity, curiosity and interest in marketing a growing business. 

You will learn: 

  • Website and portals content management – uploading content, ensuring that news, images and key messages are up to date on both Avenida Home web site and trade show websites  
  • Assisting with social media management 
  • Styling and photography   
  • Creating and managing an image library 
  • Creating captivating and engaging email campaigns 
  • Analytics and monitoring of online activity 
  • Support needs of all other areas of the business as required 

 Person Specification: 

  • Driven and motivated, with a can-do attitude 
  • Creative, with a passion for developing new ideas 
  • The ability to take initiative and work independently when needed 
  • A qualification in a creative subject 
  • Excellent writing skills 
  • Knowledge of social media  
  • Good organisation skills is essential 
  • An eye for detail is essential 
  • Experience in photography would be an advantage 
  • Experience of ecommerce would be an advantage 

Multi Channel Marketer Training 

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering topics such as: 

  • Brand management 
  • Content creation, SEO and utilising AI 
  • Online and offline marketing, including Google Ads certification 

You will undertake the ground-breaking Professional Apprenticeships Multi Channel Marketer Level 3 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships are an Ofsted Outstanding rated provider, and also hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021. 

The training is delivered using a hybrid model and can be delivered fully remotely if needed. You will have monthly 1-2-1s with your assigned tutor, along with monthly group sessions, where one topic will be covered in detail, and you will have the opportunity to meet and work with all the other apprentices on the course. 

The programme is designed to mould you into a high-level, all-rounded digital marketer. You will learn in detail about: 

  • Principles of Marketing 
  • Social media  
  • Brand management 
  • Creating content 
  • Evaluating and reviewing campaigns 
  • Paid media (PPC) and much more 

These modules are designed to jump-start your career and make you stand out in an increasingly competitive field, boosting your future earning potential.
