A software development technician typically works as a junior member of a software development team, to build simple software components (whether web, mobile or desktop applications) to be used by other members of the team as part of larger software development projects.

Length of Apprenticeship: 15 months

Who is this apprenticeship right for? Logical thinkers individuals with a minimum of 5 GCSEs at A*-C (9-4) including English and Maths or functional skills at level 2.

How will this apprenticeship be delivered.

This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of work-based learning, online training sessions or face to face sessions at our training centres. You will build a portfolio of work you have created to evidence your skills all areas of Network Engineering. When ready to finish your apprenticeship, you will sit an end point assessment – but don’t worry you will have loads of support to prepare for this.
