Apprenticeship Information

This ICT Apprenticeship is designed to equip Apprentices with the skills, behaviours and knowledge required for the modern IT environment. Apprentices will have regular visits from an IT Trainer who will provide support, advice & guidance and training as well as gathering evidence for the associated qualifications within the Apprenticeship by means of observation, professional discussion and work-based evidence. Apprentices will have access to a wide range of training materials suitable to their learning styles and their requirements within their job role.  This apprenticeship combines skills and knowledge with employment in an ICT role, meaning that apprentices are paid throughout the course. Apprentices can apply and improve their skills in the workplace to complement the instructor led learning.

Upon completion of the ICT Apprenticeship you will able to access a variety of progression opportunities. These include but are not limited to; higher level ICT training, promotion within your existing employer or a new role in the ever growing world of Technology.

  • You must be a minimum of 16 years old  
  • You must hold 5 GCSE’s graded A* to C or 9-5 or Equivalent
  • Have you been a resident in the EU for 3 years?
  • Are you passionate about IT and Technology?

Levels For This Apprenticeship

(Level 2) Intermediate Apprentices may work in roles such as IT Clerk, Website Technician, Data Administrator and Digital Assistant

(Level 3) Advanced Apprentices may work in roles such as IT Application helpdesk support, IT Supervisor, Website Manager and IT Application Officer

(Level 4) Higher Apprentices may work in roles such as Technical Support Engineer, I.T Helpdesk Analyst, Helpdesk Administrator Desktop Support Analyst, Support Technician.

All levels of Apprenticeships are based on a 15-18 Month Period.
