The role of a researcher is generally to work alongside a client facing consultant and assist with the generation of candidates relevant to a particular vacancy/assignment.

Specific Duties:

· Attend client meetings to understand vacancy requirements
· Take brief from consultant regarding vacancy details and candidate brief
· Research companies local to client and identify list of competitors
· Identify key individuals within these organisations relevant to the assignment brief (via telephone & internet)
· Advertise vacancies on job boards
· Conduct CV searches on job boards and Flagship database
· Maximise LinkedIn for research and for contacting potential candidates
· Network via various internet portals and groups to generate leads
· Marketing – compose e-shots to be issued to clients on a monthly basis
· Headhunt potential candidates identified for an assignment
· Interview candidates both via the telephone and face to face
· Compose candidates CV’s
· Take references on candidates with the aim of also generating business leads
· Press – keep up to date with latest project wins and industry gossip to generate business opportunities
· Generate and present reports to consultants

Annual Salary: £12,000
