Digital Marketing Apprentice

We’re currently  seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our Business Team. We are a forward thinking and innovative business, always striving to be on the cutting edge of education, embracing technology in both the classroom and the office. We are seeking a creative and confident person to help maximise our online presence and reach, to streamline and modernise our internal and external communications and to help develop and implement our marketing plan.

Desirable candidate will have:

  • Manage the website and app
  • Manage all social media platforms (currently Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), including seeking out content
  • Introduce video blogging
  • Produce newsletters
  • Create posters and other media for events
  • Manage the roll out of the new streamlined communications – parent portal, online permissions and sign ups, pay portal etc.
  • Oversee all communications with partners (internal and external)
  • Develop online booking for clients
  • Work with Cre8ion to update the image/brand on a regular basis.
  • Establish working relationships with key organisations and individuals within local organisations and the media at local and city level
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a marketing plan for the business.
  • Organise and manage photo opportunities and press calls where required
  • Organise press events and receptions at events and meetings
  • Organise prospective parent tours
  • Celebrate and profile the work of the business and its community partners through effective liaison with media

We are recruiting for an Apprentice IT Systems Administrator to join to the technical support team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to get involved in many different aspects of IT in a growing business. Rakata Technology is an IT Managed Services provider and software developer based in Bristol. We are a growing company and have been in business since 2007. We provide end-to-end IT services for our clients and pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service. The successful applicant will learn about the main areas of IT infrastructure support, undertaking general support activities. There is also scope for involvement in technical implementation projects on customer sites.

The role is initially in infrastructure support however if the right candidate can demonstrate the right skills and knowledge this role could also incorporate web development (Joomla, WordPress, LAMP) PHP development, .NET development and many others.

Daily tasks will include:

·         IT user administration.

·         Responding to day-to-day queries from customers that come in via phone, email or online chat/helpdesk.
